Frank Gore passes Eric Dickerson Jersey for 7th on all-time rushing list

Colts running back Frank Gore moved past Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson for seventh place on the NFL’s all-time rushing list in the first quarter of Sunday’s 26-23 overtime victory against the San Francisco 49ers.

A jersey retirement Sunday capped off a weekend in which the Colts honored quarterback Peyton Manning for his 14 years with the franchise.

Mariota is listed as questionable on the team’s injury report and considered day-to-day with a hamstring strain after leaving Sunday’s loss to the Texans after halftime with the injury. Although he stressed his first and foremost goal is just to get healthy, Mariota said he would love to play if he’s 100 percent.

If I am able to move around, hand the ball off, able to drop back, I’ll definitely play, Mariota told reporters Friday. I feel good. The plan has been taking it one game at a time. I feel good at this point and time and we’ll see how it feels on Sunday. I continue to prepare each and every day and hopefully I’ll be able to go.

Cassel will need to be on his game after throwing two interceptions in the team’s loss to Houston in Week 4 once he replaced Mariota.
